So....how soon is beta?

At least two months, depends on how much they want tested before they start up a bigger beta.

They have a long way to go though, looking at the notes. Most of the professions haven't been updated, very little in the way of dungeons, Death Knight stuff, Hunters aren't mentioned as having updated stuff yet, etc.

Hunters were the last to get updated before BC as well.

They do that, and then the legendary bow they came out with isn't even that super special because it shoots to slow and the DPS is lower than other epic bows from earlier in the instance (Once you subtract the DPS they added onto it to make up for losing ammo DPS).

Blizzard just sucks in the hunter department.

You're not seeing the big picture with the bow, Az.

No ammo while leveling = extra bag space = less running to town = faster leveling.

Yeah, it's not a zomg DPS weapon like warglaives, but...it's an orange item that frees up an entire bag slot. That's nifty.

Oh I know it has it's perks and all.

I was just connecting that to Blizzard not being done with hunters in the beta by telling you how they could have easily made the bow better by changing the attack speed or up the DPS on it some.

I would take that bow, no doubt. Just for the bag space alone; but why is it that it's a legendary that isn't even itemized correctly?

Anyway. Legendary doesn't always mean "best," so much as "special." That's the excuse Blizzard's using for not updating Sulfuras, Thunderfury, Atiesh at this point in time.
